There’s so much to say about this painting, how it just took over me. My love for the northern rivers and Mullumbimby, a cute little hippie town in Bundjalung country which I’m lucky to call my home. I gave so much of myself into this painting that I found so much of myself in the process.
I painted the road on which I drive, and many others everyday but never have a chance to stop and admire. Such is just a speckle , a moment of the beauty in this area.
I scraped off bits of paint from my palette which I glued onto the painting, and used textured paste which makes the painting 3D
